Two Washington state men are accused of using electronic "skimmers" on gas pumps in Oklahoma and other states, to allegedly steal credit card information.
Authorities think they've hauled in at least $400,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Ryan Roberts says the men would attach skimmers to gas pumps, and retrieve them about a month later.
"We pulled a skimmer in Muskogee. And we've had the targets stay the night in Texarkana and the Idabel area," Roberts told KTOK.
Roberts said 50-year-old Kevin Konstantinov and 36-year-old Elvin Alisuretove are both in custody.
Roberts says the men would load credit card information onto a gift card, which could then be used like a credit or debit card.
He said both men are expected to be arraigned in Muskogee federal court, within about a month.
