The OSBI has arrested one person in connection with the discovery of three bodies buried in a hole in a field near Jennings in Pawnee County. The bodies were those of two women and a child who disappeared from Chandler in 1992. 60-year-old Grover Prewitt Jr. was booked into the Creek County jail Thursday and bond was set at $500,000. He was arrested on one charge of being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder for his role in concealing the fact that the three victims had been murdered and their bodies dumped in a hole he originally dug for a septic tank. The OSBI says at the time of the murders, Prewitt had sold his mother five of his 40 acres of land and it was on those five acres that the bodies were found. The OSBI believes several others were involved in the homicides. The bureau is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the homicides. Anyone with information is urged to call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
