Federal Emergency Management Agency officials said the disaster recovery center serving those affected by the Moore tornado is no longer located at Westmoore High School.
The new location is at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, 304 SW 134th Street, in Oklahoma City. It's open 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It's open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. It is closed on Sunday.
FEMA officials said only one other disaster recovery center open is at Jenks Simmons Field House, 214 North Country Club Road, in El Reno. It's open 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
A FEMA spokesman said as of Sunday, July 7th, almost 12 million dollars have been approved for individuals in seven counties affected by recent severe weather events.
